This is a commission piece I did for a friend. It was really interesting researching the symbolism for all the little bits of the mask. The Toque, Horned serpent and the moon are all sculpted separately and attached to the mask. If you are interested in another mask like this one contact me or check my etsy for avalablity.

Its nice to be able to go back and see how far I've come. This was one of my earlier masks just when I was really starting to get a better hold of sculpting. Even the quality of the photos has gotten better since then. I know the owner of this mask rather well and I think he would let me have it back for a day to take pictures again next to a similar design to compare quality. I really need to remake this mask some time soon.
